A. Implementation
of Action
In the implementation of the
research was divided into four stages namely, plan, Action, observation,
reflection.
a.
Plan
Plan
is the process of setting goals, developing strategies and outlining task and
schedules to accomplish the goals.
b. Criteria of success
The Criteria of success in this study
were emphasized on the teaching and learning process while the researcher was
running and the score of students oral test was given by the teacher during the
action research. To determine whether the research needs two cycles, it is
necessary to determine the criteria of success. The minimal score the
individual students should achieve is 65 of the subject should get that passing
grade, as well as used motivated when this condition has been fulfilled, then
research is considered to be successful and the cycle ends.
c. Action
Action is this study the researcher
acted as a practitioner who implemented the proposed strategy by referring to
the activities done in the class. Teaching the class using jigsaw technique and
based on teaching learning action plan.
d. Observation
Observation is the process of recording
and collecting data about aspects or events which happened during the
implementation of the action. This observation is done during teaching and
learning process.
e. Reflection
Result of the evaluation and observation is
collected and then analyzed by writer. From the observation, the writer can
make reflection based on the result of the observation data, whether the class
activities and the method implemented can improve the student’s achievements or
not. Beside the data of observation, the teacher also makes journal every ends
of the teaching learning process. Data in the journal may be able to use as the
parameter to evaluate the teacher her/himself. Result of the analysis from this
cycle is used to make plan for following process to reach the goal of the
research and also to improve the students speaking ability.
